     i love these knitted headbands! especially the ones with flowers and bows on them! they are perfect for a lazy day around the house when you dont want your hair in your face, or going out and doing errands! these are also perfect when you are washing your face (skin care regimen post) or doing a facial (DIY facials post) to help keep your hair from getting in the way!
     they are so cute and come in a variety of different colors and styles! i am going to try and find one for my upcoming plane ride! i am always trying to find the perfect outfit and accessories for my plane ride (just got an idea for another post, coming soon!). here are a couple pictures i found online!

skin care regimen

     so the last couple weeks i have noticed my skin was getting really dry; especially on my hands, wrists, and arms. i also noticed that the skin on my face was always dry and did not look smooth, i was in desperate need of a facial! the thing with facials is that they cost about $70 and only last a couple weeks before you have to go back in for another one. so i went to the next best thing, WALGREENS!!!
     i picked up some great things which are now an esential part of my everyday routine! these are some skin care basics that i think everyone should have!

1. vaseline cocoa butter line! the deep conditioning lotion and the vitalizing gel body oil! the lotion is great for everyday use and the body oil is amazing for after the shower to replace the healthy oils in your skin that you just washed off! 
2. aveeno positively radiant! the skin brightening daily scrub helps to gently remove dry and dead skin, followed by the daily moisturizer with SPF 15, your face will never be more smooth and healthy!  
3. nivea good bye cellulite! the name says it all!! with spring and summer coming up i want to feel confident in my clothes that i am wearing. this is a great way to tighten your skin; on your legs, butt, and even stomach!! the gel-cream and fast acting serum work amazing!! this is a must have product! results are noticeable within a week!

martins bday!

     martins birthday was on tuesday march 1st and i am so excited to give him his gift!! i obviously can not say what it is right now just in case he looks at my blog from now to tomorrow when i give it to him! but it is the perfect gift!! at least i hope..
     i try to pay attention to everything martin (and anyone) says when it comes to gift ideas! last christmas break we saw these online and had a convesation about them and he said he really liked it and guarenteed me that he would take good care of it!
     so i would like everyone to please post a comment on your idea of what his gift might be! tell everyone you know to post a comment about it! i want to see what everyone comes up with! 
     i will be posting a picture of martin with his birthday gift after i give it to him, but for now his is a picture of him to hold all of you over until then!

my ombre hair!

so i said i would post some new pictures of my hair and here they are! the color fade is very subtle and thats what i love about it! it looks natural, and it doesnt look like i have a straight line from dark to light. i love my hair soo much and i highly recommend every girl out there to get the ombre!! i can not stop looking at myself in the mirror! its so much fun and i think its going to be my new look! i am going back in to the salon to get blonde tips so i will post a new picture in a week! let me know what you think!

     at the end of the nate burkus show today he made a suggestion for your next home upgrade. he recommends shopping for a new mirror and hanging it in an unexpected place. 
     so.. if you have a mirror laying around the home and you do not know what to do with it, hang it up some where unexpected and send me a picture of it! or the next time you are out at the thrift store pick one up! i will be posting a picture of my mirror very quickly!

     today is the day i have been waiting for for months!!!!! kim kardashians new single JAM deputed today!!
     it is already up on on itunes and i am so excited to listen to it in my car! it is a very fun and upbeat song! it is definitely a song that should be on your workout playlist! i can not wait for the music video! let me know what you think!
